On the day before Thanksgiving, VPR’s Jane Lindholm takes you to the source of farm-fresh ingredients for the traditional holiday meal. She gets the low-down on heritage turkeys at Applecheek farm in Hyde Park, and learns about cranberry cultivation from Bob and Betsey Lesnikoski, Vermont’s only commercial cranberry growers.

And Associated Press food columnist Jim Romanoff is her in-studio guest, answering last-minute turkey-dinner questions and swapping stories of culinary triumphs and disasters from past Thanksgivings.
