As gasoline prices rise towards or past $4.00 a gallon, it’s not just drivers who are affected, some small gas stations also feel the squeeze.  Officials from the Southwestern Medical Center are preparing pitch plans for a $45 million hospital expansion; Governor Jim Douglas plans to sign a domestic violence bill;  more than 200 people who worked at the Rutland South Supervisory Union could be getting some back pay;  Matt Pelletier of Rhode Island is celebrating his third straight victory in the KeyBank Vermont City Marathon.
