Vermont guard members are bracing for another possible
deployment: this time to Afghanistan. The
Department of Defense has told the Vermonters that as many as 1900 of them
could be deployed in 2010. Adjutant
General Michael Dubie says preparations are already underway. He’ll discuss how the deployment will affect
soldiers and their families and the lessons learned from the guard missions in Iraq. (Listen)
