Howard Frank Mosher Reflects On His “Journey Home”

day he turned 65, Howard Frank Mosher also finished radiation treatments for prostate
cancer. The very next day, the Vermont author set out on his own to drive across the
country. He spent several months on the road, stopping in around 100 cities and
independent bookstores along the way. We talk to Mosher about his adventures,
and his reflections on his life and career, which he writes about in his new
book, "The Great Northern Express."

Also on the program, cuts to the Air Force are trickling down to the Vermont Air National Guard. The Vermont Air Guard will lose 57 full-time positions at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. recently for The Brattleboro Museum and Art Center’s Fifth Annual Domino Toppling Extravaganza. Domino Topplers create
elaborate designs using thousands, sometimes millions of  dominoes. Then they knock them down. The popularity of this
once-obscure hobby has grown with the advent of online videos that allow
topplers to share their achievements.
