White Nose Syndrome, a mysterious illness
affecting bats in the Northeast, has been spreading this winter. Now scientists are racing to protect
populations all along the east coast before it’s too late.
The Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife says people across
the state could expect to see bats in the weeks ahead in unusual areas during
the daytime.
