Andrew Koppelman, John Paul Stevens Professor of Law and Professor of Political Science at Northwestern University, discusses his views of the political arguments surrounding same-sex marriage.
His lecture, titled "Careful with that Gun: The New (?) Arguments Against Marriage Equality," was delivered April 15th at Vermont Law School as part of a week-long reflection on the tenth anniverary of Vermont’s civil union law.
The week long reflection, "The Law and Politics of Marriage Equality: Vermont, the
