Ten years after same sex couples gained the right to enter into civil unions, we hear from three people who fought to make civil unions available in Vermont.

Lawyers Mary Bonauto and Beth Robinson and Representative Bill Lippert discuss the creation of Vermont’s civil union law.

Their discussion is part of "The Law and Politics of Marriage Equality: Vermont, the
Nation and the World," a conference sponsored by the University of Vermont and Vermont Law School. This panel discussion took place at UVM on April 16th.
