(Host) As people in Vermont gather for their town meetings, some last night, and some today there’s one person in the room who’s in charge, and that’s the town moderator.
We wanted to find out what it’s like to assume control of a room full of your friends and neighbors for one day each year. So we got in touch with Jeff Kilgore…an attorney who’s also been moderator for the town of Waterbury for the past eight years, and served as the moderator for the village of Waterbury for three years as well.
Kilgore says it’s definitely a labor of love.
