Many of us were digging out this morning from the first snowstorm of the New Year. But December was already one of the snowiest on record. There are reports that more than 45 inches had fallen at Burlington International Airport prior to this new storm. Skiers are happy. Snowplow drivers are happy. Early morning commuters? Maybe not. But no matter what you do in it, the weather this time of year is a crucial part of every Vermonter’s life.
