NPR reporter David Greene began a tour in Northern Michigan at the start of the Obama administration. Since then he’s traveled south through Ohio, Kentucky and Georgia, gauging the effect of the recession on people. His report is chronicled in the series, "100 Days: On the Road in Troubled Times."
He spoke with VPR’s Jane Lindholm about people around the country about how they’re coping with this recession.
