UVM geologist studying climate change in Antarctica

A University of Vermont geologist is on a research expedition in Antarctica.

Tom Neumann is an expert on ice flow and polar snow chemistry. He and a group of scientists are traveling over the ice in special Norwegian tractors. Their objective is to answer the question: how will the Antarctic ice sheet respond to future warming?
