Town to consider nudity ban again

Although cold weather is approaching, officials in Brattleboro are considering adopting another ban on nudity.

The board agreed last night to discuss a permanent ordinance prohibiting nudity downtown after one resident requested it.

Last summer the board adopted a temporary ban which expired in September.

Nudity hasn’t been a problem until earlier this month when two anti-fur activists from the group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals disrobed downtown.
