For many of us, December 21st will come and go with only a passing thought of the fact that it’s the Winter Solstice.
But imagine the heavenly realignment it heralds – as the sun reaches its lowest point in the northern sky and begins its slow climb toward spring.
For the past 34 years, Hanover has been one of 10 cities across the country to mark the solstice with an annual Christmas Revels performance.
VPR’s Steve Zind visited a rehearsal to see what Revels is all about.
