Officials: Changes Needed to Campaign Finance Laws

Vermont Attorney General Bill Sorrell says that this year’s election season was one of the busiest for his office due to allegations of campaign finance laws being broken.  Speaking on Vermont Edition with Secretary Of State Elect Jim Condos, Sorrell said it was due to all the open races, particularly the gubernatorial race and the amount of out of state money coming into the state to influence voters. Both recommend changes to the Campaign Finance laws.
