Recovery from Tropical Storm Irene will now be overseen by Deputy Transportation Secretary Sue Minter.
Minter will replace current Irene Recovery Officer Neale Lunderville, who will return to Green Mountain Power at the end of the month.
In announcing Minter’s appointment as Irene Recovery Officer this morning, Governor Peter Shumlin says Minter worked closely with Transportation Secretary Brian Searles and road crews to re-open damaged roads and bridges following the storm.
Before joining the agency of transportation, Minter was a state representative from Waterbury.
