Leahy Chief Of Staff To Join President Obama’s Team

(Host) Senator Patrick Leahy’s office says chief of staff Ed Pagano is leaving to join the White House.

Pagano has been tapped to be deputy assistant to President Obama and the president’s liaison to the Senate.

Pagano has been in charge of Leahy’s staff since 2005 and he previously worked for Leahy on the Judiciary Committee.

Pagano is a graduate of the University of Vermont, where he played center for the Catamounts men’s varsity basketball team from 1981 to 1985.
