An organization in Central Vermont that provides support to parents of newborns and newly adopted babies is giving away 268,800 diapers.
Good Beginnings of Central Vermont received a truck with 28 pallets of the chlorine-free diapers on Friday.
The organization sends trained volunteers into homes with newborns since 1991. There are no income qualifications to receive the diapers, which are now being stored in a facility owned by the National Life Group.
The diapers are factory seconds provided by the Burlington-based company Seventh Generation.
