Dartmouth College is selling land at the top of Mount Washington to the state.
The land on the summit will become part of the Mount Washington State Park.
According to the state’s letter to the Executive Council, which takes up the matter Wednesday, the state will pay Dartmouth from leases held on electrical transmission services on the property.
The sale price is over $2 million.
