We celebrate the tenor saxophonist Joe Lovano’s birthday with his 2008
release Symphonica, his work with the John Pattituci Trio and his
tribute to John Coltrane as part of The Steve Kuhn Trio’s 2009 ECM
release. We also sample from the 1959 Charles Mingus’ Mingus Ah Um album.
