Police say a woman was struck and killed by a car as she left a store in Rutland Wednesday night.
Police report the car also drove into three other vehicles in the parking lot of the Rutland Discount Food and Liquidation Center.
The other vehicles were pushed more than 50 feet by the impact.
Police say the woman was hit as she walked out of the store, and her father was hospitalized with a head injury.
At least one person in the moving car was also injured.
Police are investigating the possibility that drugs or alcohol may have played a role in the crash.
