A 37-year-old Walden woman has been charged in connection with a fatal crash that killed a 7-year-old boy.

Vermont State Police say Corrine Baker was charged Sunday with careless and negligent operation.

Police say Baker lost control of a pickup truck carrying five passengers while traveling to school in Walden on Dec. 15. Baker’s vehicle went off the road and crashed into a utility pole.
