Police in St. Johnsbury have arrested a woman from Washington, Vermont in a case of identity theft.
Police say she opened an account and purchased home heating fuel in someone else’s name. The situation was reported when the victim received an overdue notice for the fuel.
Former St. Johnsbury resident Chrissie Jones has been charged with identity theft and grand larceny.
