With meter readers busy, PSNH sends estimate bills

Even though they lost power during the ice storm, some Public Service Company of New Hampshire customers are finding their latest bills are considerably higher than last month.

The company had to estimate the amounts because employees who usually read meters were put on storm clean up duty. The utility based the amounts on bills for last November and December.

The meters will be read soon and accurate bills will be mailed next month. Customers who overpaid will get credits.
