The case of a Windsor county lawyer caught with two and a half pounds of marijuana has drawn the attention of Vermont’s Attorney General and now the governor.

Jim Douglas has ordered law enforcement officials to bypass Windsor County State’s Attorney Robert Sand and send all marijuana cases to the Attorney General’s office.

VPR’s Mitch Wertlieb spoke with Robert Sand about his decision to give Martha Davis’ case to court diversion before today’s announcement.
