Congressman Peter Welch will hold a forum on how the U.S. Department of Agriculture rural development program can help small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Today’s panel discussion will be held at Rhino Foods in Burlington, a company that’s expanded its operations with a loan guarantee from the program.
Welch’s office says the loan guarantee helped the manufacturer of products for ice cream and frozen food companies worldwide refinance debt and invest in new equipment.
Welch will be joined by the director of the USDA Rural Development for Vermont and New Hampshire, the president of Rhino Foods and other officials.
