The world is reacting to the news that Osama Bin Laden was killed yesterday in Pakistan.
Senator Patrick Leahy says Secretary of State Hilary Clinton called him with the news yesterday. Leahy his thoughts immediately turned to the thousands of Americans and thousands of people of other nationalities who were innocent victims of bin Laden’s self-righteous venom, and the many more brave men and women who have died in the struggle to bring him to justice. And Leahy adds that he’s mindful of the need for continued viligence.
Joining us now is Congressman Peter Welch who remembers where he was on September 11, 2001, where he was today when he heard the news.
