Water chestnuts found in Springfield lake

A pesky water plant that has plagued Lake Champlain has been discovered on the eastern side of the state. Wildlife surveyor Jan Lambert has found water chestnut plants in a North Springfield lake. The discovery indicates the nuisance plant is spreading among lakes in the state.
