Waitsfield rallies for farm damaged in February storm

In last month’s blizzard, a small family farm in Waitsfield was reminded of what community means. We define that word, “community” in many ways but one measure is what happens when someone needs a hand.

During the Valentine’s Day storm, the Turners dialed 911 for help in getting their cows out of a collapsed barn. They had no idea that it would trigger an outpouring of support that continues weeks later.
