Vermont Technical College, in Randolph, is getting $3.4 million from the U.S. Department of Labor. The money will support training programs in agriculture, food production, waste disposal and energy production.

V-T-C President Phil Conroy says the federal grant will allow the school to improve upon its degree and college-level certificates, as well as help meet trade employment needs throughout the state.
