Stephen Huneck was widely known for his prints and paintings of dogs. His love of our canine companions inspired him to build a chapel devoted to dogs on land he named "Dog Mountain" in St. Johnsbury. It drew people from around the world who brought their dogs or left notes taped to the walls remembering long-gone beloved pets.
Stephen Huneck took his own life last Thursday.
