Whether the threat is terrorism or pandemic flu, emergency officials are still urging businesses and families to be prepared with emergency plans including food supplies, water, and a safe place to go. Peter Coffey is with the Vermont Department of Emergency Management. He speaks with VPR’s Jane Lindholm about why businesses, schools and families need to have disaster plans in place.
