U.S. embassies all over the world are staffed by Foreign Service workers – people who work at implementing or explaining U.S. foreign policy, and processing visas for foreign residents to come to this country. And at the head of each embassy is the ambassador.
Rodolphe "Skip" Vallee has just completed his post as the Ambassador to Slovakia and has now returned home to Vermont. He spoke with VPR’s Jane Lindholm about the experience.
