Middlebury College scholar-in-residence Bill McKibben has been one of the most respected voices in the discussion about climate change, beginning with his 1989 book "The End of Nature".

McKibben has walked across Vermont and traveled around the world to highlight the need for action on climate change.  And he’s offered an economic vision which he believes would not only address the environmental issues we face, but help nurture a more human, dynamic and community-oriented culture.  He spoke with VPR’s Jane Lindholm about his vision on how to address climate change.
