The Vermont National Guard announced last week that the Guard’s 2nd in command, Brigadier General Jonathan Farnham, will be heading to Afghanistan.
General Farnham will be heading up the newly created Afghan National Security Forces Development Assistance Bureau, which will monitor the training of Afghan security forces.
He spoke VPR’s Jane Lindholm about his new job.
