VT Edition: Bill Mathis on educational funding before Act 60

Bill Mathis is the superintendent of the Rutland Northeast Supervisory Union, it serves a handful of rural towns in the western part of the state. Mathis is widely known as an ardent supporter of Act 60, but he’s also somewhat of an expert on the history of education funding in Vermont. He spoke with VPR’s Jane Lindholm about the many attempts that came before Act 60.
