This week Vermont Edition is featuring the voices of some of the artists whose work is touring the state as part of the "Art of Action".

The project attempts to capture in art what Vermonters feel makes the state unique – and what they want to preserve in the future.

One of the artists is Curtis Hale of Danville.

For Art of Action, Hale created a series of paintings of Vermont bridges.  He says he was struck by how the design of bridges reflects our aesthetics, and how bridges also serve as a metaphor.
