The election for governor is year away still, but six candidates are in the race already. Republican Brian Dubie has declared his candidacy, and so have five Democrats: Sen. Susan Bartlett, Sen. Doug Racine, Sen. Peter Shumlin, former Sen. Matt Dunne and Secretary of State Deb Markowitz.
