(Host) The Vermont College of Fine Arts has just started one of the biggest Master’s In Fine Arts classes in its history.
The Montpelier college begins an intensive 10-day residency today that involves workshops, lectures and readings.
Louise Crowley is the director of the MFA in writing program.
I visited Crowley in her office, where she explained what the residency involves.
Visiting writers to this year’s residency include poet Cleopatra Mathis and fiction writer Ernesto-Mestre-Reed.
More than 40 public readings have been scheduled.
