Volunteers in Burlington are continuing to fill sandbags to prevent more damage from Lake Champlain flooding.

While the rain has stopped, officials say wind and waves continue to pose a possible threat to the shoreline.

Volunteers, who are encouraged to bring their own shovels, plan to fill sandbags Tuesday at Leddy Park at 4 p.m. The sandbags will then be taken to affected neighborhoods.
