Victim Notification System Goes Automatic

A new system at the Department of Corrections, called the Vermont Automated Notification Service, or VANS, notifies individuals by phone and/or email about any changes in an offender’s status.  VANS has been in operation for about six months now.  Ashley Fisk with Victim Services runs the program and talks with VPR’s Jane Lindholm about how it’s been going.
