Two Vermont women are among this year’s top 50 finishers in the Boston Marathon. Amy Chekos of Burlington came in 32nd at Monday’s race, finishing in 3:02:17. Just a few minutes later, Nicole Wilkerson of Middlebury placed 44th in the race.
In the men’s competition, James Miller of Essex Junction finished 76th, finishing in just under 2:43. More than 20,000 runners competed in the 26.2-mile Boston Marathon.
