Some 1,300 captive insurance professionals from around the United States and abroad are set to descend on the Burlington area next week.
They’ll be in town for the 23rd annual conference hosted by the Vermont Captive Insurance Association.
Vermont is the premier host in the United States – and third largest in the world – for captive insurance companies.
Captive insurance companies are wholly-owned subsidiaries of large corporations that provide property loss, casualty and liability insurance to their corporate parent.
