The state Department of Health will discuss preparations for the flu next week in Rutland, Springfield and Lyndon.
The forums will feature state officials and public health experts discussing the state’s preparations and the actions that people and communities can take to cope with the regular seasonal flu, as well as the H1N1 flu.
Health Commissioner Dr. Wendy Davis says this flu season will be complex, and that’s it’s more important than ever to take precautions.
The forums are scheduled for Tuesday at the Rutland Holiday Inn, for Wednesday at Springfield High School, and on Thursday at the Lyndon Institute. There also will be a forum in Barre on Oct. 7 at the Barre Opera House.
