In Washington DC today, members of the Vermont Historical Society will receive the nation’s highest medal for services provided by museums and libraries.
The annual award is handed out by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), and the President of Vermont’s Historical Society Kevin Graffagnino, says the magnitude of the award and what it means for the society can’t be underestimated:
