Vermont used to be the breadbasket of the east, a powerhouse of grain-growing, until the Erie Canal opened travel to the Midwest. But several farmers in the state are now experimenting with growing wheat and other grains. Vermont Edition host Jane Lindholm traveled to Vergennes to visit one of them.
