The union representing part-time faculty at the University of Vermont has ratified a new three-year contract that includes a 2 percent salary increase for each of the three years.
United Academics and the UVM administration agreed on a tentative contract on July 2, after negotiating since January.
Union officials say more than 50 percent of the 160 eligible faculty voted by mail ballot on the tentative contract.
