University of Vermont President Dan Fogel is back on the job. Two months ago he was hospitalized with acute pancreatitis.
Fogel spent several days in the intensive care unit after he developed complications from his illness.
Doctors think a rare viral infection caused the life-threatening attack.
Fogel, who’s 58, is expected to make a full recovery.
