University of Vermont police say a man found dead and wrapped in a blanket in a wooded area is a 57-year-old from Shelburne.
A preliminary police investigation has determined that Thomas Keenan appears to have died from exposure to the cold. His body was found Wednesday afternoon in an area known as Centennial Woods.
The Burlington Free press reports that an autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death.
UVM Police say the death does not appear to be suspicious.
Centennial Woods runs from Interstate 89 in south Burlington west to the university’s main campus. It includes an area behind the Centennial Field athletic complex.
