Union Institute and University is selling its historic Vermont College campus in Montpelier to a local group.
The newly formed Vermont College of Fine Arts also is buying three of the academic programs that have defined the college over the years.
The new college will continue operating master of fine arts programs in visual arts, writing, and writing for children and young adults.
