UNH climate expert to lead new initiative

A University of New Hampshire researcher, who shared in the 2007 Nobel Prize for his work on climate change, is moving on lead a new climate initiative.

Berrien Moore was the founding director of UNH’s Institute for the Study of Earth, Oceans and Space. He has written more than 150 papers on climate change and was a member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which received the Nobel Prize this year.

Moore will lead a new program called Climate Central, which is based in Princeton, New Jersey and Palo Alto, California.
